PANTS
PANTS is an acronym from the NSPCC to help parents have child-friendly conversations about staying safe from abuse. It stands for: Privates are private; Always remember your body belongs to you; No means no; Talk about secrets that upset you; and Speak up, someone can help.
These rules empower children with the knowledge that their body is their own, they have the right to refuse uncomfortable situations, and they can always talk to a trusted adult if they are worried or upset.
